You make your way back outside. You know you've walked this stretch of the midway before. At least, you think you have, but you don't remember this.

A prize shelf stands beside the path. Their eyes catch yours immediately. They're just stuffed animals, but their eyes are too dark....too piercing.

You look away, but it's surprisingly difficult not to look back. You notice each prize has a name tag, like they already belong to someone.
