Puzzle Peach is very much a one-woman operation. I dream up the stories, create the puzzles, design the books, build the interactive website portions, and spend an alarming amount of time moving things two pixels to the left and deciding whether a clue is clever or just mean.

I’ve always loved creating things, solving problems, and making experiences that are a little different from what already exists. Puzzle Peach somehow became the place where all of those things collided when I decided I wanted an inexpensive escape room experience without leaving my house.

 Most of these books begin with one random thought:
“What if an escape room was a book?”

“What if you had to escape completely normal places that everyone secretly hates?”

“What if this carnival was deeply, deeply wrong?”

THE BEST PART?

People actually play them.

Something that started as an idea sitting in my brain gets picked up by another person, and suddenly they're inside the story I made.

They're scribbling notes in the margins.

They're stuck on the clue I thought might be too easy.

They're yelling “OH MY GOD, I GET IT.”

They're suspicious of something that isn't even a clue.

And occasionally they're probably mad at me.
